No. 20 - Song - Daisy and Chorus - "Reaching for the cake."

MIDI File

Daisy: There's goin' to be a cake-walk,
All the d*****s will be there,
And ev'ry moke, of course, expects to win it.
But what's the use of talkin'?
When it comes right down to walkin',
No other c**n is in it for a minute.
There'll be no competition,
for I quite out-shine the rest,
And ever since I've struck the town they've known it.
We'll cut some fancy figures,
we'll paralyse those d*****s,
For when that cake is cut you'll find I own it.
Talk about your prancers,
and talk about your dancers.
You'll have to congratulate
that little girl of mine.
Watch the other fellows.
They'll all be mighty jealous.
They'll scatter as we go down the line.
Chorus: Talk about your prancers,
and talk about your dancers.
You'll have to congratulate
that little girl of mine.
Watch the other fellows.
They'll all be mighty jealous.
They'll scatter as we go down the line.
