This resplendent independent Rajah of renown,
Makes election for protection of the British Crown.

Rajah: I am a marvellous Eastern King,
So that I never do anything
Wrong, The Rajah of Bhong!

Princess: I am his beautiful future bride,
Watching with looks that are shy and side
Long, The Rajah of Bhong!

Rajah: I have a wonderful force of will,
Well have I reigned, and I'm going still

Princess: And you will possibly have to ring,
Bells for myself and the Rajah, Ding

Princess: He can do pretty near anything,
