Marriage of Sullivan's parents, Thomas Sullivan and Mary Clementina Coghlan, on 26 November 1836 at Paddington parish church.

Registration of Arthur Seymour Sullivan's birth and his subsequent baptism on 31 July 1842 at St. Mary's church, Lambeth.

1851 census [30th March]. Thomas Sullivan, his wife, Clementina, and their sons Frederick and Arthur at Sandhurst. Thomas Sullivan's profession is given as Sergeant Master of the Band.

Queens Mansions

1861 census [7 April]. Thomas Sullivan, his wife, Clementina, and their son Frederick are at 3 Ponsonby Street, Westminster. Arthur was still in Leipzig, his music to The Tempest having been given for the first time at the Conservatorium Graduation Concert the previous day, 6 April.

1871 census [2 April]. Sullivan and his widowed mother are living at 8 Albert Mansions, Victoria Street, Westminster.

1881 census [3 April]. Sullivan had moved from number 8 to number 9 Albert Mansions at the end of June 1877. The information on this document seems confused.

1891 census [5 April]. Sullivan had moved to 1 Queens Mansions, Victoria Street in 1882.

1900. Sullivan died on 22 November. His death is recorded in the fourth quarter, volume 1a, page 330.
