Alfred Beers (1899-1900)

Alfred Beers appears to have been understudy to C. Herbert Workman on tour with D'Oyly Carte's Company "C" (Repertoire Company) in 1899 and 1900. He filled in for Workman as Jack Point in The Yeomen of the Guard between January and March 1899, and also played Phantis in Utopia Limited in December of that year. During 1900, he appeared on occasion as Point, as the Lord Chancellor in Iolanthe, and as Ko-Ko in The Mikado.

Alfred Beers appeared on tour in musical comedy in 1916, and in several London musicals between 1917 and 1924. He was back on tour for the remainder of the decade.
