Jennie Chambers (1920-26)

Soprano Jennie Chambers represented Belgium in All Nations, a single matinee production described as "song pictures" at St. James's Theatre in May 1919.It was her only appearance in a London theatre program.

She was a chorister with the D'Oyly Carte "New" Opera Company from March 1920 to April 1926.Miss Chambers appeared periodically as Vittoria in The Gondoliers (June 1921-June 1924), First Bridesmaid (December 1921-February 1922) and the Plaintiff (occasional substitution in February 1924) in Trial by Jury, and Kate in The Yeomen of the Guard (July-December 1924).
