Miss Clowes was a chorister with D'Oyly Carte Opera Company "E" during the 1898 season.

It seems likely that she was the daughter of Edward Clowes (D'Oyly Carte, 1879-92, 1893) and Ada Seaton (1879-84, 1887-88, 1897-98).Miss Seaton was also a chorister, and occasional Peep-Bo, with "E" Company in 1898.
