Ella Collins (born Maria Susannah Collons) played the Cook in Richard D'Oyly Carte's one-act "musical pastoral" Happy Hampstead when it was produced under Carte's and Kate Santley's management at the Royalty Theatre, London, from January 13 to February 9, 1877.

Miss Collins later appeared on tour with the Carl Rosa Opera Company, taking the role of Baroness Nymark in Frederick Corder's opera Nordisa when it was performed at the Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool, in January 1887.
