Ita Cope appeared with the D'Oyly Carte Repertory Opera Company from April to July 1922 as the Plaintiff in Trial by Jury and Lady Psyche in Princess Ida.It was her only engagement with the Company.

She later had two named parts on the London Stage:as Betty Hall in the ballad opera Mr. Pepys (Everyman and Royalty, 1926) and as Jenny Diver in The Beggar's Opera (Lyric, Hammersmith, 1926).She was also seen as an extra in Dath (an "unhistoric romance," Ambassadors, 1933).
