Theodora Linda Da Costa (1882)

Theodora Linda Da Costa was just seven years old when she appeared at the Standard Theatre, October 28 to November 23, 1882, as Little Alice in D'Oyly Carte's production of Planquette's Rip Van Winkle.It was her only D'Oyly Carte engagement, but one of many appearances in New York as a juvenile artist between 1882 and 1887.

As an adult she appeared in New York in a benefit concert at the Garden Theatre (1894), in the operatic comedy The Lady Slavey (Casino, 1896), in Smith & de Koven's The Three Dragoons (Broadway, 1899), and the comedy-opera King Dodo (Daly's, 1902).She also appeared in Boston in May 1899 in The Three Dragoons.
