Scott Dalgleish (1896-98)

Scott Dalgleish appeared on tour with J. W. Boughton's Company in Gilbert & Carr's "His Excellency", as Erling Sykke in the fall of 1895.

Dalgleish shortly joined the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company at the Savoy, serving as a chorister during the 1896 revival of The Mikado, the 1897 revival of The Yeomen of the Guard, and the subsequent productions of The Grand Duchess of Gerolstein (December 1897-March 1898) and The Beauty Stone (May-July 1898). He was in all likelihood present for the intervening productions of His Majesty and The Gondoliers.
