Soprano Ada Davies made her London debut as Alice in Franco Leoni's Rip Van Winkle (Her Majesty's, September 1897) and as the Sandman and the Dewman in Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel (Her Majesty's, September-October 1897).

She toured with D'Oyly Carte Opera Company "D" from April-December 1900 as the Sultana Zubedyah ("Rose-in-Bloom") in The Rose of Persia.

Between 1903 and 1907 she made several appearances in grand opera at Covent Garden, Drury Lane, and the Lyric.Her last London role was a Flower Maiden in Parsifal (Covent Garden, 1914).
