THE D'OYLY CARTE OPERA COMPANY

Marie de Noel (1882)

In March and April 1882 Marie de Noel was in the chorus of Claude Duval, and probably Patience, when they were produced under D'Oyly Carte management at New York's Standard Theatre.

She made what may have been her New York Stage debut the previous year as Jeannie, one of the village maidens, in a revival of Les Cloches de Corneville (Metropolitan Casino, October-November 1881).
