Richard Eaton, whose real name was Richard Christopher Jones, was a chorister and small part player with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company from September 1925, when he joined the main Repertory Company, until March 1933. His roles were Second Yeoman in The Yeomen of the Guard (played his entire career, though sometimes shared with other performers), Antonio (1925-26, and on occasion 1928), Giuseppe (briefly in 1926), and Luiz (1928-29, and on occasion 1930-32) in The Gondoliers, and Archibald Grosvenor in Patience (filling in once for Leslie Rands, August 1928).
