THE D'OYLY CARTE OPERA COMPANY
Owen Ford (1902-03)
Owen Ford was apparently a chorister and/or understudy with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company at the Savoy during the original production of Hood & German's Merrie England (April 1902-January 1903). He later played Silas Simpkins when the opera was revived and toured by William Greet's Company in 1909.
