Brian Hewitt-Jones was a bass chorister with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company for less than one season, from July 1957 to April 1958.

Hewitt-Jones also had a brief career as a film actor, appearing in Rob Roy (1961), Time to Remember and The Quare Fellow (both 1962). He nay be heard in London cast recordings of Fiddler on the Roof (1967) and Camelot (2011).
