[Born Stretford, Lancashire 4 Jan 1880, died Ypres, Belgium 2 Jun 1917]

Tenor Percy Hilditch served most of one season in the D'Oyly Carte Principal Repertory Opera Company chorus:from July 1915 to April 1916. At that point, World War I intervened and he answered his country's call. He was killed in Flanders the following year.
