Josephine Hinchley served as a mezzo-soprano chorister with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company for three seasons:from July 1973 to July 1976. During her last, 1975-76, season she deputized on occasion for Patricia Anne Bennett as Fleta in Iolanthe while that lady was filling in as Phyllis.
