Leslie Hinton served as a baritone chorister with the D'Oyly Carte Principal Repertory Opera Company from February 1916 to June 1917, when he left to join the Army. He rejoined the D'Oyly Carte after the war (date unclear), but left for the final time in November 1919. In the 1940s, he performed as a piano entertainer.
