Philip J. Holden appeared on tour with Mr. D'Oyly Carte's "A" Company in October and November 1885, as Guron in Princess Ida and as Dr. Draper in Round & Square, the Desprez & Solomon vaudeville that rounded out the bill when the Company played The Sorcerer or H.M.S. Pinafore.
