THE D'OYLY CARTE OPERA COMPANY

Ella Kitson (1893)

Ella Kitson was a touring chorister with D'Oyly Carte Opera Company "E" in 1893. She was one of three Company members to appear as Nance in Haddon Hall, taking over the part in August of that year.

In September and October 1894, having left the D'Oyly Carte, she appeared as a dancer at London's Lyceum Theatre with Lillian Russell and several former Savoyards in the comic opera The Queen of the Brilliants.
