Kate Lovell (1882-83)

Kate Lovell was engaged by D'Oyly Carte to play Katrina (a village flirt) in a December 1882-July 1883 tour of Planquette's Rip Van Winkle. It was her only D'Oyly Carte role.

She later appeared in London as Sally in a single matinee performance of Crazed, a one-act "musical absurdity" at the Opera Comique, March 22, 1894.
