Hettis Lund (1887-88)
Hettis Lund appeared as Peep-Bo in The Mikado and Zorah in Ruddigore with Mr. D'Oyly Carte's "B" Company on tour from April 1887 to June 1888, when the company was disbanded. It was her only engagement with the Carte organization.
She later took one named part in London:Ethel in the musical comedy Monte Carlo (Avenue, 1896):and one in New York:"Scent-of-Lilies" in a Charles Frohman production of Hood & Sullivan's The Rose of Persia (Daly's, 1900). Though not a D'Oyly Carte production it was staged with D'Oyly Carte permission.
