Gertie Madigan (1887)

Gertie Madigan appeared as Ruth with D'Oyly Carte's Second American Ruddygore Company on tour in New England under the management of John Stetson in March 1887. In April she had transferred to Carte's Third American Ruddygore Company as Ruth, but by May 4 she had yielded the role to another artist.
