Ada Newall (1890, 1894-1901)

Ada Agnes Newall was a chorister with D'Oyly Carte Opera Company "B" during its 1890 tour. She later joined the main D'Oyly Carte Opera Company at the Savoy, creating the small part of Anna in Burnand & Sullivan's The Chieftain (December 1894-March 1895) and serving in the chorus there until the original production of The Emerald Isle (April-November 1901). During her time at the Savoy she also appeared as a bridesmaid or extra in four benefit matinee productions of Trial by Jury. She was married to D'Oyly Carte tenor D. S. Jeffery.
