Ethel Newcombe (1896)

Ethel Newcombe was a chorister with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company at the Savoy between March and July 1896, for the original production of The Grand Duke and the subsequent revival of The Mikado. She filled in on occasion for Ruth Vincent as Gretchen in The Grand Duke in April and May 1896 while Miss Vincent was deputizing for Florence Perry as Lisa at several matinees.
