THE D'OYLY CARTE OPERA COMPANY

Mr. E. Pearce appeared on stage as Mr. Bunthorne's Solicitor in the first provincial production of Patience with Mr. D'Oyly Carte's "D" Company from August to December 1881. He was probably not a chorister but, rather, a staff member drafted to play the non-singing walk-on role.
