Marie Ridgeway was a soprano chorister and small part player with D'Oyly Carte Opera Company "B" from at least April 1891 until August 1895. She took her first named part in November 1892, when she filled in as Kate in The Yeomen of the Guard, and in August 1895 she took a small (but unidentified) part in The Chieftain. Between June 1894 and February 1895 she held down the small parts of the Lady Ella in Patience and Saleta in Utopia Limited, and in January 1895 deputized briefly for Eleanor Jenkins a Princess Zara in Utopia.
