James B. Robertson

James B. Robertson (1924-27, 1929-30)

James B. Robertson joined the D'Oyly Carte "New" Opera Company chorus in May 1924, serving until the "New" Company was disbanded in June 1927. In July 1929 he was rehired as a chorister by the lone remaining D'Oyly Carte Opera Company, but left in January 1930.

A James Robertson, quite possibly the same gentleman, appeared in small roles or the chorus in The Desert Song (Alhambra, 1931), Ball at the Savoy (Drury Lane, 1933-34), Three Sisters (Drury Lane, 1934), and 1066 and All That (Strand, 1935-36).
