Lawrence Roche (1878, 1881, 1884-86)

[Born London c.1855]

Lawrence Roche was a chorister on tour with the Comedy Opera Company Ltd. under the management of Richard D'Oyly Carte between March and August 1878, with Mr. D'Oyly Carte's "E" Company in April 1881, and, probably, with "E" Company from 1884 (when an L. Roche played Napoleon Fitz-Stubbs in the companion piece A Private Wire) until at least 1886, when an L. Roche was still serving with "E" Company while another (presumably Leonard) was with Carte companies in America and Europe. Lawrence Roche may well have had additional D'Oyly Carte service in the interim periods.
