Annie Russell (m.d., 1894)

Annie Russell (given name Annie de la Tour Howell) was for some time D'Oyly Carte's rehearsal piano accompanist at the Savoy Theatre. She was also one of several musical directors for D'Oyly Carte Opera Company "A" in 1894 when the Company toured Utopia Limited. She is known to have conducted in September of that year. She was married to D'Oyly Carte baritone Leonard Russell.
