Patience Seymour in Patience

Patience Seymour (1900-02)

Patience Seymour appeared at the Savoy in the chorus for the first revival of Patience (November 1900-April 1901), the initial productions of The Emerald Isle (April-November 1901) and the first revival of Iolanthe (December 1901-March 1902). At some point during the Iolanthe revival, she succeeded her sister-in-law, Agnes Fraser, as Ah Mee in the companion piece The Willow Pattern.

Her only subsequent named parts on the London Stage were Fraulein Weiner in The Cingalee (Daly's, 1904-05), Gwenny Holden in Lady Madcap (Prince of Wales's, 1905), Lady Clare in The Sunshine Girl (Gaiety, 1912-13), and Viola in The Only Girl (Apollo, 1915).

Patience Seymour was married to fellow D'Oyly Carte performer Alec Fraser.
