Margaret Sheryll (1969-73)

Margaret Sheryll trained in Italy before joining the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company chorus in September 1969. She was known as Margaret Sharpe at the time, but by the next season had adopted Sheryll as her stage name. She remained with the Company for four seasons, appearing in several small parts:First Bridesmaid in Trial by Jury (on occasion 1971-72, regularly 1972-73), Kate in The Pirates of Penzance (1972-73), Leila in Iolanthe (on occasion 1971-73), Ada in Princess Ida (on occasion 1970-71), Peep-Bo in The Mikado (on occasion 1971-73), and Giulia (on occasion 1970-71) and Vittoria (on occasion 1970-71, regularly 1971-73) in The Gondoliers. She left the Company in June 1973.
