Baritone Raymond Simmons served in the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company chorus for less than a season:from January to September 1979. He had some twenty years stage experience before joining the D'Oyly Carte, appearing in musicals such as The King and I, South Pacific, and The Music Man, and in operetta.
