Stanley Wallace (1919-21, 1922-23)

Tenor Stanley Wallace joined the D'Oyly Carte Repertory Opera Company in September 1919, then transferred to the D'Oyly Carte "New" Opera Company the following February. With the "New" Company, Wallace's first role was Francesco in The Gondoliers, substituting in the part in March and April 1920.

With the "New" Company, Wallace later took over the roles of First Yeoman in The Yeomen of the Guard and Francesco in June 1921, but left the D'Oyly Carte organization the following month. He rejoined the "New" Company in July 1922, reclaiming First Yeoman and Francseco, but left for the final time in January 1923.
