Agnes Wyatt (1887-91)

Agnes Wyatt was a soprano chorister and understudy with the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company at the Savoy beginning in November 1887 (first revival of H.M.S. Pinafore) until at least June 1891 (first production of The Nautch Girl). She filled in on occasion as Josephine in Pinafore (January 1888), and in the smaller parts of Kate in The Yeomen of the Guard (November 1889), Fiametta (December 1889) and Giulia (June-September 1890) in The Gondoliers.

Her sister, Ellen, or Nellie, Wyatt, a contralto, toured with several D'Oyly Carte companies between 1888 and 1901.
